Paysafe Bulgaria Launches Its Paid Internship Programme for IT Graduates

Six-month extensive training with leading global payments provider

Paysafe Bulgaria a leading global payments provider, launches its six-month long 2017 paid Internship Programme for Software Engineers on 19th June. Open to anyone who has completed the appropriate speciality courses, the aim is to help an individual acquire intensive learning and practice to further their career aspirations and as they enter the job market.

Now in its seventh year, Paysafe Bulgaria offers trainees with no experience the opportunity to receive on-the-job training, experience and exposure to a fast pace global company in the Payments sector whilst getting paid. Trainees would be located in the Sofia offices, which has been voted as one of the top 25 most popular offices in the world in 2016 ranked by Office Snapshots.

In the first quarter, trainees undergo intensive theoretical training where they learn Java Full Technology Stack. The second part of the programme provides the practical element allowing the learners to gain experience within a team environment. Both the theoretical and practical trainings are focused on a few basic areas – Java (Fundamentals, APIs and Related Technologies), Testing, Angular 2, Linux.

Twelve of the fifteen participants successfully completed the training last year. They progressed their careers and were employed as full-time Paysafe employees in December 2016. Paysafe partners with IT academies like HackBulgaria and IT Talents, providing their graduates the opportunity to apply for the programme after successfully completing their course. This partnership helps creating good environment where IT graduates can develop and grow long-term.

“Paysafe Bulgaria Internship Programme is held in our office in Sofia. Our trainees have the opportunity to learn from approximately 150 software development specialists and join them in real company projects by accessing applications and sources that Paysafe employees use in their daily work,” said Petya Nikolova, Head of Human Resources at Paysafe Bulgaria.

Experience is not mandatory, the Internship Programme is created for people with an interest in IT and have the basic knowledge of Java, a commitment to learn and the possibility to dedicate at least 30 hours per week for training. Each intern who successfully completes the programme has a great opportunity to become one of over 850 Paysafe Bulgaria employees through this programme. After the acquisition of Skrill by Optimal Payments, Paysafe Bulgaria became one of the largest employers in the country. Paysafe office in Sofia – six floors in one of the most modern office buildings in Sofia, Bulgaria located at Capital Fort.
