Software Group Chooses Varna for its Second Bulgarian Location
The company will hire over 40 software developers and QAs next year
Software Group opened an office in Varna, Bulgaria on 1 December. This is the second domestic office of the Bulgarian tech company, which develops innovative software products facilitating access to financial services. Software Group has customers in over 60 countries worldwide. Recently, it announced the opening of its first US office. Apart from the Sofia HQ and the two newly opened offices, the company is present in another 7 countries – Australia, Ghana, Egypt, India, Kenya, Mexico, and The Philippines.
“We chose Varna as a strategic location for our next Bulgarian office. The overall employment rate in 2015 there was 68,4%. The business climate is very good there and the IT sector has a major share with its highly qualified experts. The universities in Varna and the region train around 30,000 young and educated people. We believe that many of them would be interested in pursuing career in a global company. We’ll invest in their further education and professional development,” said Kalin Radev, founder and CEO of Software Group.
The company has already started to hire experts in the field of software development, integration and maintenance and will continue to do so.
“We plan to start with 11 employees and expect to increase their number by 40 next year,” announced Bozhana Dimitrova, HR Director in Software Group. She explained that the company is looking for highly motivated software developers and QA specialists who want to advance their career in a dynamic business environment. The team in Varna will work together with the HQ in Sofia on global projects for banks, telecoms, microfinancing organizations, fintech companies and many more.
During the grand opening of the Varna office, the company also discussed partnership opportunities with local universities. Later that day, Software Group hosted an Open Doors event in the new office, where those interested in career in IT met and spoke with Software Group’s CEO Kalin Radev, the company’s management and experts from different departments. The participants learned about the company’s business, as well as the solutions it develops, the positions available in Varna and the development opportunities for IT experts.
