CLICO Celebrates its 30th Anniversary

CLICO – specialized distributor CLICO and solutions in the field of cyber security, networking and management, has celebrated its 30th anniversary. The occasion was also marked by the Bulgarian division of the company – CLICO Bulgaria, with an event at the Grand Hotel Millennium, to which representatives of partner companies, customers and suppliers were invited.
CLICO has been on the market since 1991 and has introduced and promoted unique professional solutions, that have subsequently proven their positions at their respective segments. Leveraging its 30 years of experience the company offers not only the best products to global tech leaders, but also a large selection of consulting, educational and IT audit services, that support different companies in the process of improving their cyber security in the field of IT, operational technologies and IoT. At the beginning of 1995 Check Point Software Technologies joined CLICO’s portfolio, in 2002 OneSecure (acquired by NetScreen and then by Juniper Networks) joined as well, and in 2007 – WAF (a firewall for web apps) by Imperva and afterwards NGFW (a new generation of firewall), by Palo Alto Networks.
The Bulgarian company ACT Sofia is one of the longest standing CLICO partners, working together since the 90s. According to the CEO and co-founder Tchavdar Nikolov: “When we started working with CLICO Poland the technologies and the internet weren’t at today’s level. Our communication went through the fax machine. Nevertheless, we have created a stable and trusted partnership, which we maintain to this day. With CLICO, we share a common understanding of how to do business, something I value very much.”
The company’s portfolio now includes over 30 companies with Splunk and Recorded Future being the latest additions. Over the past 30 years the Polish company has developed a network of offices in Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Hungary, with a presence in Latvia, as well. The company started out with a team of three university students – its founders, in 1991 and has grown into a team of 140.
The company has been present on the Bulgarian market since 1996 and since 2016 has also developed its own office. Ever since CLICO Bulgaria recorded an average revenue growth of 20%, has worked with more than 70 partners in the country and has over 2,000 completed projects.
