The Bulgarian National Statistical Institute Has Increased the Quality of the Provided E-services

Тhe Bulgarian National Statistical Institute successfully completed a project dedicated to “Improving the quality of services for citizens and businesses, establishment and implementation of clear, credible and unified procedures for development of electronic services through the implementation of a system for quality management according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard”.

The closing press conference took place on September 10, 2015 at the Press Centre of NSI  in Sofia and was attended by more than 40 guests. Sergey Tsvetarsky, President of the National Statistical Institute, and Galia Stateva, Project Manager, shared the results of the project.

100 experts of the NSI have been trained to work with the implemented quality management system. 20 professionals from different NSI departments have been certified as internal auditors of systems for quality management according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

 The main goal of the project is to improve the quality, transparency and reliability of services for citizens and businesses by building a system for quality management for the e-services provided by the National Statistical Institute.

The project is funded by the Operational Program “Administrative Capacity”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
