Sofia Hosted the Only Technical Communication Conference in Southeastern Europe Etc “Evolution of Technical Communication” on 2-3 June

ETC „Evolution of Technical Communication“ 2016 is one of a kind event in Southeastern Europe. It gathered technical writers, technical editors and translators, information architects, project managers, product managers, consultants and many more on 2-3 June in Sofia for seventh consecutive year. Among the speakers were technical communication experts from Germany, Romania, Poland, Turkey and Bulgaria. The event was organized by tekom Europe – the largest European association for technical communications.
We’re glad that we were able to contribute to the success of this event. Our job was to approach and connect with prospective speakers, attendees and sponsors through all channels – phone calls, emails and social media; positioning and gaining media coverage, information campaign and event organization.
During the two conference days we were on hand to provide everything necessary for a successful event – from a warm welcome beverage for the attendees and making sure that the speakers have everything they need for their presentations, to giving away raffle prizes and live streaming in social media. As a result, from this effort we had a very successful and cheerful conference… and many new friends.
We’ll remember ETC 2016 with:
- Innovations: for the first time the conference lasted for two days and included parallel sessions and workshops;
- Variety: 32% international speakers from countries such as Germany, Romania, Poland and Turkey;
- Happy attendees: 84% of all attendees would recommend ETC to friends and colleagues.
